<br />CIVIL DEFENSE AGENCY Date: April 13, 2020 <br />MEDIA UPDATE Time: 8:00 AM <br /> Radio Frequency: Each Hour <br /> Update #: 1 <br />Incident: Coronavirus Update <br />This is a Civil Defense message. <br />th <br />This is a COVID-19 informational update for Monday morning, April 13. <br />On today’s report of COVID-19, the total number of people tested positive for Hawaii <br />Island is 36. From this, 25 have been cleared as recovered by the Department of <br />Health, and the remaining 11 are quarantined at home and closely monitored by your <br />Department of Health. At this date, no one for Hawaii Island, had to be hospitalized. <br />The State’s proclamation of Stay at Home and its policies of physical distancing, <br />closures, gatherings, and travel remains in effect. These policies all have one major <br />purpose; it is to help stop the spread of the coronavirus from those who may have it and <br />do not know it, to those who do not have it. <br />Remember, just as important that within the policies of ‘Stay at Home’, keep yourself <br />physically and emotionally healthy as best as you can.
