This is a COVID-19 information update for Monday morning, May 18tH
On today's report of COVID-19, the total number of people tested positive for Hawaii
Island is 77, from this 75 have been cleared as recovered with the two remain
quarantine at home and monitored by the Department of Health. At this date no one is
hospitalized.
For your information, drive thru testing will be conducted today in North Kona at the
Keauhou Shopping center, hours are from 8 this morning till 12 noon. A drive-thru
testing will also be held in Hilo today, at the Civic Auditorium, hours are from 9 this
morning till 1 this afternoon. Thank you, Ali'i Health, Premier Medical Group and all the
supporters for providing this free service.
A food drop-off service will be held today in North Kohala at the Sacred Heart Church in
Hawi, hours are from 10 this morning till 12 noon. Thank you, Hawaii food basket and
all the contributors that make this possible and the police, Hawaii National Guard, and
the Sheriff's department for helping.
