HomeMy WebLinkAboutBrent Morris Testimony Items #4 & #5Windward Planning Commission   Meeting: 06/04/2020 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM    May 14th, 2020    Aloha chair and members of the Leeward Planning Commission,    Thank you for considering my personal ​testimony in support of 5G cell towers in Puna​. Thank you for  your due diligence in preparing for today’s commission meeting. If you need a little help researching the  topic, I’ve provided a link below to a review of ​94 peer reviewed articles on 5G safety​.    Want to acknowledge a conflict of interest. I rely on the internet to do my job, learn, and prepare for  approaching disasters. The proposed towers will not service my home but they may relieve some  congestion should county workers be sent home to watch videos all day.     Your decision today will affect kids. The odd person that wants to call a loved one before they bleed out  at their home in the acres probably understood the risk better than children.     Today, post-covid access to information has become critical. Walking to a friends house for access doesn’t  always work. The government bulletin board at Aupuni Center and the coconut wireless are no longer  barely enough to get by.     Please do not ignore Section 508 and related ADA laws.
