<br />CIVIL DEFENSE AGENCY Date: June 11, 2020 <br />MEDIA UPDATE Time: 08:30 AM <br />Radio Frequency: Every 2 Hours <br /> Update #: 1 <br />Incident: Coronavirus Update <br />This is a Civil Defense message. <br />th <br />This is a COVID-19 informational update for Thursday, June 11. <br />On today’s report of COVID-19, the number of active cases for Hawaii Island, reported by the <br />Department of Health, stands at zero. <br />For your information, an `ohana food service is scheduled today in Waimea at the Waimea <br />District Park. Service begins at 10:00 this morning. Thank you Hawaii Food Basket and their <br />contributors for providing this service to those in need and the Hawaii National Guard and <br />County Task Force for helping. <br />In addition, a drive through testing service is scheduled for today at the Keauhou Shopping <br />Center in North Kona. Hours are from 8:00 in the morning ‘til 12:00 noon. Thank you Ali`i <br />Health for providing this free service and the Hawaii National Guard and County Task Force for <br />helping. <br />As the Island and State of Hawaii goes forward, please know the importance of continuing to <br />follow the policies of physical distancing, gatherings, face coverings, cleanliness, and keeping <br />yourself physically and emotionally healthy.
