CIVIL DEFENSE AGENCY Date: June 16, 2020 <br />MEDIA UPDATE <br />Incident: Coronavirus Update <br />This is a Civil Defense message. <br />Time: 08:30 AM <br />Radio Frequency: Every 2 Hours <br />Update #: 1 <br />This is a COVID-19 information update for Tuesday, June 16tH <br />On today's update of COVID-19, the number of active cases for Hawaii Island stands at <br />one. An active case is defined as an individual who has tested positive for the COVID- <br />19 virus and is presently being monitored by the Department of Health. <br />Commencing today, June 16th, inter -island travelers will not be subjected to a 14 -day <br />quarantine. Out-of-state travelers are still subjected to the 14 -day quarantine policy. <br />The State and Island of Hawaii are moving forward on reopening's, but remember that <br />the Coronavirus threat remains and we must continue to follow the preventive policies to <br />protect our community.
