This is a COVID-19 update for Sunday, June 21.
On today’s update of COVID-19, the number of active cases for Hawaii Island,
monitored by the Department of Health, is one. At this date, for Hawaii Island, no one is
hospitalized.
Unfortunately, the Islands of Kauai and Oahu are now experiencing an increase of
positive cases. This emphasizes the importance of understanding that the virus threat
remains and we must continue to follow the policies of prevention to protect our
community. All of these policies have one purpose, to stop the spread of the virus.
