This is a COVID-19 update for Tuesday, June 23.
On today’s update of COVID-19, the number of active cases for Hawaii Island, monitored by the
Department of Health, is two. At this date no one is hospitalized.
The State and Island of Hawaii continue to move forward on reopening as Hawaii is in a good
place because of your efforts of prevention. In going forward, know the importance of
continuing to follow the policies of distancing, gatherings, cleanliness, face coverings, and
keeping yourself physically and emotionally healthy. Do maintain social connections with our
Kupuna. All of these policies have one goal; to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
