This is a COVID-19 informational update for Thursday, June 25.
On today’s update of COVID-19, the number of active cases for Hawaii Island,
monitored by the Department of Health, is two. At this date, for Hawaii Island, no one is
hospitalized.
For your information, an `ohana food service is scheduled for today in South Kona at
the Hookena Elementary School. Distribution will start at 10:00 this morning. Mahalo
Hawaii Food Basket and all the contributors for making this possible and to the Hawaii
National Guard, State Sherriff’s, and County Task Force for helping.
As the State and County of Hawaii move forward, it is so important to continue following
the preventive policies to keep Hawaii safe. To those traveling, know the importance of
awareness and caution as you travel out of state.
