Message: I would advise against item 4.97: "Perform a feasibility study on developing a scenic route from Waipi'o Valley
Lookout extending mauka to connect Mud Lane at the entrance of Waimea and a scenic park with a viewing area of
Hi'ilawe Falls."
I can appreciate if the intent is to prevent tourists from attempting to access Hi'ilawe on foot. However, considering the
number of times the notion of preserving areas from development or mitigating the impacts of development appear, I
fail to see how more development will solve this. I would remove this item.
