The county needs to start serving its residents, not tourists, and not the companies making money off of tourists. How can you possibly say you are concerned about the welfare ofthe citizens and their environment if you • continue to promote ideas such as it has this? We don't need any more Instagram-crazed nitwits driving around in what remains of our relatively unscathed areas. Instead, the County's goal should be to keep the tourists at the resorts. If only you would focus on affordable housing, reliable mass transportation, improved access to education, and developing reasonable industries to employ and serve our local population, you would actually be earning your paychecks.
