Message: I strongly oppose any scenic route development through Waipio Valley! It is a safety and environmental
hazard to continue to allow non-residential traffic through the valley. My personal experiences throughout my life (I am
47 yrs old)going up and down to the valley has been harrowing to say the least. I never go down there unless I have a
familial or cultural obligation and even then I try not to add to the problem that already exists with the disrespectful
tourists and locals inexperienced driving.There is NO demand NOR need for a scenic route! Please listen to the
community regarding this matter, and restrict the general public from accessing the valley.Things need to change so
please do the community right by not pursuing a scenic route. Sincerely,
