As a long time resident of North Kohala, I beg you to not allow resort development at Mahukona UNLESS those plans
include an improved County Park with pavilion and easy swimming access with plenty of parking for local residents (as
well as tourists). As you may know,the only place children can safely swam in North Kohala is within the small
breakwater at Keokea.
We badly need to save this historic site.
