I swim at Mahukona every other day, the ocean
is so healing for me and I live in Hawi. o
I don't want to see any development, any resort r
all around Mahukona.

There are enough resorts on the Big Island and
Mahukona is not a place that the tourists would be
attracted to. There is no beach,just an old pier with e'z ooaladdertogetinthewater. r
It's for the locals, the fisherman, the families that live
in North Kohala.
Please do not build a resort there, we need to protect
the land for the generations to come.
My son-in-law is half Hawaiian, his mother is from Hawi and
he is a fireman-paramedic in Kapa'au.
I have 3 grandkids and my grandson loves to fish there.
