Aloha to whom it may concern:
Thank you for this opportunity to share in the General Plan making for Hawaii County.
I strongly believe that there is it great need to remove the resort designation on MAHUKONA of North Kohala.
MAHUKONA has been a gathering place for families for generations. Our children learn to swim there. My KEIKI had her
first experience Salt water experience in the tide pools Of MAHUKONA. Our Community has swimming groups that go
there daily and weekly.
We do not have Castle and Cook to keep afloat nor unemployed plantation workers to employ.
Please remove the resort designation on MAHUKONA.
