We desire the conceptual plan as presented by SPIG to the community(May 2015, copies available). We are
requesting the County Planning Department change the recommended land use zoning from LDU to MDU
Medium Density Urban) in the Hawaii General Plan. MDU allows for the proposed high-end 40 room lodge,
restaurant, etc. which would support renovation of our golf course. The County has on file a list in excess of
two hundred and fifty residents in support of these improvements yet the CDP recommended LDU.
We ask that this be corrected.
