NEWS RELEASE (Revises closing date to July 25, instead of August 1)
Kaiwiki Park Closed from July 25 Until Further Notice for Repairs
The County of Hawai‘i Department of Parks and Recreation announces the closure of
Kaiwiki Park beginning Saturday, July 25, 2020, until further notice. The original plan
was to close the park on August 1, 2020 until further notice. The facility will be
undergoing necessary improvements and repairs.
The Department apologizes for any inconvenience this closure may cause and thanks
the general public for their patience.
