WELCOME AND INTRODUCTIONS - Welcome new member Michelle Hiraishi - Welcome new Executive on Aging William H. Farr - Welcome new Information & Assistance Clerk Charline Blanco 4. APPROVAL OF THE FEBRUARY 19, 2020 MEETING MINUTES 5. PUBLIC TESTIMONY ON AGENDA ITEMS- All testimonies shall be relevant to the meeting agenda’s specific items. At the discretion of the Chair, public testimony may also be taken when each agenda item is discussed. 6. OLD BUSINESS; a. Procedure for our advisory letters to the Mayor b. Nominations for new Officers c. Follow up on possibility of Videoconferencing for MCPD meetings d. Proposals for Tentative future Guest speakers e. Executive Meeting to follow each monthly meeting Hawaii County is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer. An Area Agency on Aging f. Amendments for Bylaws 7. NEW BUSINESS a. Budget report b. Discussion on holding meetings Quarterly due to budget and travel constraints c. Review upcoming Meeting dates for meeting rooms to be reserved d. Provide new procedures in place for COVID-19 protection - If any attendees are ill, to stay home that day - Everyone to ring the doorbell at the front entrance - All persons must come wearing masks to enter the building - Everyone must sanitize and sign in at the front desk - The ADRC large conference room will be used with social distancing - Masks are to be worn throughout the meeting and until out of the building 8. NOTICE TO LOBBYISTS If you are a lobbyist, you must register with the Hawai‘i County Clerk within five days of becoming a lobbyist (Article 15, Section 2-91.3(b), Hawai‘i County Code). A lobbyist means, “any individual engaged for pay or other consideration who spends more than five hours in any month or $275 in any six-month period for the purpose of attempting to influence legislative or administrative action by communicating or urging others to communicate with public officials.” (Article 15, Section 2-91.3(a)(6), Hawai‘i County Code.)
