Monday, July 13, 2020 <br /> This is a Civil Defense message. <br /> This is a Covid-19 informational update for Monday afternoon at 5:00. <br /> On this afternoon's Covid-19 update Kona Community Hospital has confirmed that on <br /> Friday an employee was tested positive for Covid-19. The Hospital is in the process of <br /> contact tracing to identify anyone that may have been in contact with the staff <br /> member. No additional employees have been tested positive. In addition the State <br /> Department of Health is supporting the hospital's care and management of the affected <br /> employee and precautions to protect patients and staff. <br /> We are reminded of the importance to protect ourselves by following the everyday <br /> precautions of wearing face coverings, maintaining distances, gatherings and <br /> cleanliness.
