2_ Statements from the Public — In order to comply with the physical distancing
requirements, public testimony will be allowed one person at n time -
Limit of Persons Allowed to the Conference Room: Based on the Mayor's
COVIN -19 Emergency Rule No- 10, the indoor meeting may be held with up to -
20
o20 people in the room to ensure physical distancing and safe practices can be
maintained based on the limitations of the size of the room- Only persons that are
present for the particular item on the agenda will be allowed in the conference
room. Each person will be required to wear a facemask to enter into the
conference room-

With reference to agenda items listed, one or more executive meetings are
anticipated- In particular, the Board of Review anticipates it may consult with the
Board's attorney on questions and issues pertaining to the Board's powers,
duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities- Therefore, pursuant to Hawaii
Revised Statutes ("HRS") Sections 02-5(n)(4), the agenda items listed may be
considered in Executive Session -

13 language interpretation to access the meeting, please contact the Real Property Tax
Division at 961-8764 as soon as possible, but no later than five (5) working days prior
to meeting to arrange for accommodations. "Other reasonable modification" refers to
communication methods or devices for people with disabilities who are mentally and/or physically
challenged.
BOARD PACKET. Pursuant to Hawai'i Revised Statues Section 92-7.5, the board packet
provided to members of this board for this meeting is available for public inspection during regular
business hours at the Real Property Tax Division located at 101 Pauahi Street, Suite 4, Hilo
Hawai'i 96720.
NOTICE TO LOBBYISTS
If you are a lobbyist, you must register with the Hawai'i County Clerk within five days of
becoming a lobbyist (Article 15, Section 2-91.3(b), Hawai'i County Code).
A lobbyist means "any individual engaged for pay or other consideration who spends more
than five hours in any month or $275 in any six-month period for the purpose of attempting to
influence legislative or administrative action by communicating or urging others to
communicate with public officials." (Article 15, Section 2-91.3(a)(6), Hawai'i County Code.)
