This is a COVID-19 testing update for Friday afternoon, October 2.
There will be Covid testing Saturday in North Kona at the West Hawaii Civic Center from 9 in
the morning ‘til 1 in the afternoon. Remember, the purpose of testing is to identify positive
cases as early as possible and in this way provide early treatment and to help stop the spread
of the virus.
Be advised that county and state beaches are now open and we must remember to practice the
preventive policies of face coverings, distancing and gatherings. For your information, the
gathering size for groups is limited to 10 or fewer people. Know that these policies are
mandated and will be enforced. We need everyone to follow these policies in order to keep our
friends, family and community safe. Please accept this kuleana to make Hawaii Safe.
