Latest COVID-19 Talk Story on Na Leo TV airs Live on October 8
The latest episode of Na Leo TV’s COVID-19 Talk Story series airs live on Thursday,
October 8 from 10:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m. on Public Access Channel 53, as part of an
ongoing initiative to reach out to the Hawai‘i Island community amid the COVID-19
pandemic.
The guests for the 30-minute segment include:
Eric Honda, Department of Health District Office in Hilo;
Talmadge Magno, Civil Defense Administrator, regarding
reopening Hawai‘i, transpacific travel policy;
Sharon Hirota, Executive Assistant, Mayor’s Office, with a
summary of available financial assistance programs;
Mary Ann Otake, Hawai‘i First on Financial Navigator Program
Maile Lavea-Malloe, Hawai‘i Community Lending regarding
Rent and Mortgage Assistance Program;
Chad Hasegawa, Hawai‘i County Economic Opportunity Council
(HCEOC), regarding KEEP On Utility Program
Mel Ventura, Hawai‘i Community FCU regarding Small Business
& Non-Profit Grant Program
