COVID-19 MODIFIED POOLRULES
OPERATING UNDER MODIFIED SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS OF FACILITY ENTRYAll personsshall:
Notexhibitany of the following symptoms:
Fever orchillsNausea or vomitingDiarrhea
CoughCongestion or runnyMuscleor body aches
nose
FatigueNewloss of tasteor
Shortness of breathsmell
Headache
or difficulty breathing
Sore throat
Nothaveopen wounds/sores,contagious disease, or active diarrhea within 14
days.
Submit to a temporal scan fordetermination of theirbody temperature.
Notbe allowed entry with abody temperature of 100.4°For higher.
Always wear a face mask/coveringper CDC guidelinesonpremises.
Provide full name anda contact phone numberfor recordation by staff.
Sanitize hands.
CONDITIONS OF FACILITY USECompliance ismandatory:
6-feet of physical separation from pool staff andother patrons shall ALWAYS be
maintainedto themaximum extent practicable.
Face mask/covering shall ALWAYSbe worn except when swimming.
Personal itemsshall onlybe placed at designated areas. County shall NOTbe
responsiblefor the securityor loss of such items.
Allswimmers shallshower at designatedlocationprior to entering pool.Use of
shampoo/soap is NOTpermitted.
Spectator areas/seatingandlocker roomsare closed/off-limits.
Restroomaccessshall be provided ONLY upon request.
Showeruse is NOTpermitted forpost-swim rinsingor bathing.
Loitering on pool deck or at entrances/exits is NOTpermitted.
SWIMMINGPOOL USE RULES:
Only individual lap swimming is permittedwith reasonable accommodations
providedfor disabled patrons.Team/club use is not allowed.
Swimmers must remain intheir assigned pool lane.
Swimmers mustbe comfortable swimming in deep water.
Swimmers may be accompaniedinto the facility by not more thanone (1)caregiver,
parent/guardianorresponsible adult
Swimmers must exit thewaterimmediately at theirdesignated time and exit the
facility in an orderly, purposeful and timelymanner.
Penalty provisions:
Pursuant to Hawai‘iRevised Statutes Section 127A-29, any personviolating
theserulesshall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction, fined not more
than $5,000 or imprisoned for not more than oneyear, or both.
