Latest COVID-19 Talk Story on Na Leo TV airs Live on October 22
The latest episode of Na Leo TV’s COVID-19 Talk Story series airs live on Thursday,
October 22 from 10:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m. on Public Access Channel 53, as part of an
ongoing initiative to reach out to the Hawai‘i Island community amid the COVID-19
pandemic.
The guests for the 30-minute segment include:
Eric Honda, Department of Health District Office in Hilo, with
case numbers, clusters, etc., plus how the virus spreads;
Joe Hawk, Kama‘aina Nissan, on its Drive-Through Halloween
Experience;
John De Fries, President & CEO, Hawai‘i Tourism Authority on
reopening of transpacific travel;
Peter Schwartz, Senior Vice President, Strategic Planning for
Salesforce, on what we’ve learned from the global response to
COVID-19, what that means for Hawai‘i Island, and what each
individual can do;
Mahealani Maiku‘i, Hāmākua Youth Center Resilience Hub in
Honoka‘a ;
Michael Olson, Haleki‘i Resilience Hub in Kealakekua;
Sherry Bracken, COVID-19 impact story.
This segment will also provide Safe Halloween tips, and a PSA regarding the testing
schedule on the Big Island.
