the applicants should make certain that the following are also clearly depicted in the submitted drawings.
(1) Site plan showing TMK parcel boundaries, and showing existing and proposed building locations,
(2) Building elevations showing the architectural design of the building exteriors, depicting or describing
proposed exterior colors and materials Notation of ground elevation with contour lines or selected spot
elevations is recommended. Earth tone colors are recommended. Color samples should be provided. If
reasonable and appropriate, samples of exterior building materials may be provided. and

1. Description of proposed development:
The scope of work consist on general non-structural repairs of existing building. There will be no increase of
existing gross floor area and no additional ground disturbance.
All exterior existing rough opening width dimensions of windows and doors will be maintained to avoid any
structural modifications of existing building. Exterior walls will have patch repair around where needed.
Tenant shared Parking will be maintained as is (no change). There will be no obstruction of existing
easements, no obstruction of pedestrian access, and no work, material storing or parking on conservation
land areas. All construction materials will be contained within the project's existing perimeter.
Refer to SMA application for a list of activities and the nature of the work to be performed.
2. Statement of the objectives of the proposed project:
General Non -Structural Repairs, repair and replacement of some existing windows and doors, general floor
and wall repairs, interior casing replacement, new interior counter tops, new interior low walls and dining
booth, renovation of Bar (See A2 Floor plan for list of new bar equipment).
3. Description of anticipated impact of the proposed project on the Special Management Area:
a. Description of Area involved: Non -Structural repairs will be performed within the existing
building envelope, refer to plans for list of repairs and improvements.
b. Description of surrounding area and land uses: See Site Plan
c. Relationship of the proposed action to land use plans, policies, and control of affected area:
Affected repair and improvement areas will be controlled within the building envelope.
d. Description of how the proposed project will affected the area involved and surrounding areas:
No area surrounding the existing building will be affected by the proposed repairs, all repairs,
material storage will be maintained within the existing building perimeter. Shared parking will
be maintained as is, no pedestrian access will be blocked during construction.

e. Description of impacts which cannot be avoided and mitigating measures proposed to minimize
that impact: most of the work will be performed within the inside of the building, all work done
on exterior walls will be controlled carefully to avoid any type of debris, all materials will be
stored within the existing building perimeter.
E Alternatives to the proposed project: There are no alternatives for the proposed project. This is a
repair job that will not affect in anyway the surrounding areas of the building envelope.
4. Written description of the anticipated impacts of the proposed development on valued cultural, historical or
natural resources on or in the vicinity of the property: There will be no impact to any valued cultural,
historical or natural resources on or the vicinity of the property, all work will be performed within the
existing building perimeter. There will be no increase of existing gross floor area and no additional ground
disturbance.
Written statement discussing the proposed development and anticipated impacts of the proposed
development on the following in relationship to the objectives and policies as contained in Chapter 205A,
HRS, and the SMA Guidelines:
a. Recreational resources; No impact.
b. Historic resources: No impact
c. Scenic and Open Space resources: No impact
d. Coastal Ecosystems: No impact
e. Economic Uses and Coastal Hazards: No impact
All work will be performed within the existing building perimeter and will not affect the surrounding areas of the
property.
