PRESS RELEASE
INAUGURAL CEREMONY FOR ELECTED OFFICIALS TO BE VIRTUAL—NO PUBLIC
ATTENDANCE
The inauguration of the Mayor, Prosecuting Attorney, and nine Council Members will be a
virtual event. To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, only elected officials, program
participants, and essential staff will be present.
The inaugural ceremony will be presented to the public via livestream and broadcasted live on
Channel 55,Na Leo TV at 12:00 p.m. on December 7, 2020.
Please go to www.hawaiicounty.gov/2020inauguration to view the event live or later at your
convenience as archived material, and to view the program of events.
