AGENDA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVIEN of the following matters to be considered by the
Game Management Advisory Commission of the County of Hawai'i in accordance
with the provisions of Chapters 91 and 92, Hawai'i Revised Statutes, Section 6-
7.5(a) of the Charter of the County of Hawai'i, and the Commission's Rules of
Practice and Procedure.
Pursuant to Governor Ige's most recent proclamation, in order to
minimize physical contact and maximize social distancine, this
meeting will not be open to the public.
DATE: Tuesday, January 19, 2021
TIME: 6:30 — 8:30 PM
PLACE: This meeting will be held by interactive video conference
through WebEx. The public may provide oral testimony at the
meeting by joining online or calling into the WebEx meeting, To
register for access to the WebEx meeting please provide your
email to Barbara.Kossow@hawaiicounty.gov no later than
12:00PM, Noon on Tuesday, January 19, 2021.

3. FINANCIAL REPORT:
4. STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC ON AGENDA ITEMS:
- Statements from the public will be taken throughout the meeting.
5. PRESENTATION:
a. West Hawai'i DOFAW Wildlife Biologist Kanalu Sproat will give a report on
mutually beneficial game management strategies.
b. Mark Crivello of 3C Goat Grazing will give an update on successful pilot
programs using goats for invasive weed control in Puuwaawaa fire breaks, and
weed clearing at archaeological sites on Ali'i Drive.
c. State GMAC representative for Molokai, Nelson Rapanot will speak on the need
for improvement in the State GMAC, and the game issues on Molokai.
6. OLD BUSINESS:
a. Discuss GMAC Legislative bills.
b. Update on County Council Bill 217, ban on Waipio pedestrian access.
c. Report on DOFAW rule changes.
7. NEW BUSINESS:
a. Public shooting range discussion.
b. Mile Marker 16 shooting range clean-up.

convene in one or more executive sessions regarding the above matters listed on the
agenda, pursuant to HRS Sections 92-4 and 92-5 (a)(4), for the purpose of consulting
with the Board's attorney on questions and issues pertaining to the Commission's powers,

Hawaii County Clerk within five days of becoming a lobbyist. {Article 15, Section 2-
91.3(b), Hawaii County Code. "A lobbyist is any individual who is engaged for pay or
other consideration who spends more than five hours in any month or $275 in any six-
month period for the purpose of attempting to influence legislative or administrative action
by communicating or urging others to communicate with public officials."
