PUBLIC NOTICE COUNTY OF HAWAI'I ANNUAL PWA PLAN for FISCAL YEAR 2021 HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER PROGRAM Notice is hereby given that the Office of Housing and Community Development, Existing Housing Division pursuant to 42 USC § 1437c -1(i)(5) through 24 CFR § 903.23(e) will hold a public commenting period on the County's proposed Public Housing Agency (PHA) Annual Plan for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2021. Due to Covid-19 government restrictions the OHCD will not be holding a public hearing. The public commenting period will be conducted for the purpose of furnishing citizens with information on the agency's immediate operations, program participants, programs and services and strategy for handling operational concerns, participant concerns, programs and services for the upcoming fiscal year:. All interested persons are invited to state their views on the proposed plan in writing, The OHCD will consider any comments and views expressed by citizens on the proposed PHA Plan and may modify the Plan if it deems appropriate. Public Comment Period The proposed PHA Annual Plan will be available for public review and comment from February 5, 2021 through March 22, 2021, at the Office of Housing and Community Development, Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. except holidays.
