III. APPROVAL OF AGENDA (February 17, 202 1)
Brooke motioned to approve agenda. Mele seconded. No discussion. Motion
ap- proved.
IV. APPROVAL OF MINUTES (December 16, 2020)
Andy motioned to approve minutes. Mele seconded. No discussion. Motion
approved.
V. TREASURER'S REPORT
Andrew had no updated expenditure report from the County. During the meeting An-
drew was able to get an updated report sent to us. Brooke motioned to circle back to
the Treasure Report as Andrew got a quick response. Evelyn seconded. Andy re-
ported the report had no expenditures December or January. Brooke motioned to
approve the Treasurer's Report. Mele seconded. No discussion. Motion approved.
ACTION ITEM: Andy send the Treasurer's Report to Allen to send to the Committee.

VIII. REPORTS
A. HSCSW liaison report
• Cyd was in attendance — No new Report as the HSCSW has not met yet. They will be meeting
in a few months. Cyd will let us know when the next sched- uled meeting is.
• Cyd reported the State's Covid-19 + Women Report is statewide.
• The Committee would like to know more about the missing and murdered in-
digenous women and girls (MMIWG) event on Maui on May 5, 2021 and would like to know how HI
Island CSW could participate or what an event on our island would look like. Cyd said she is waiting to
hear back from Stacy Moniz (Sp?) On this and will have more information later.
• Cyd reported that Khara was awarded "20 Leaders for the Next 20 Years" by Hawai'i Business Maga-
zine. ACTION ITEM: Cyd to follow-up with Stacy and keep CSW Committee up. dated on
MMIWG event participation.

B. Family Violence Interagency Committee (FVIC)
• Evelyn and Farrah attended the meeting on 2/1/2021. The new Prosecuting
Attorney Kelden B.A. Waltjen was on the call.
• During the meeting they discussed National Virtual Crime Week in April and the Prose-
cuting Attorney's Office is participating. More details to fol- low.
• The Family Visitation Center from YMCA gave a short update. They are trying to obtain a
Grant. They did not have updated numbers of intakes. Ter- ry Lum said that the stats of
Abused kids on Hawai'i Island had increased by double digits from 2019.
• Farrah shared about Title IX.
• Kelden identified new things they are working on like Body Cams for Law
Enforcement. Budget cuts have impacted their office and projects like Vic-
tim Witness Program.
• It was announced that Dr. Joseph D'Angelo has joined the Bay Clinic with
the merging of Island Pediatrics to Bay Clinic.
C. 2021 Women's Legislative Caucus Virtual Breakfast
Virtual Breakfast was held on 1/27/2021. Mihaela, Brooke, Mele and Eve- lyn attended. It was very in-
formative and they discussed the bills they are supporting. 2 bills are focused on violence against women,
1 bill on women's health, I bill on child and family, 1 bill focused on women in the workplace. There
were also bills that had 75% support that were discussed. Evelyn did a report after the meeting and it is
included (see attached). Cyd said the HSCSW also did a report on the bills. Mele suggested the Sub -
Committee meet and figure out what bills need our support and track them. ACTION ITEM: Evelyn
send the report to Brooke to be included in the minutes. Mihaela send the Power Point Presentation
from the WLC to Allen to forward to the Committee. Mele set up Sub -Committee meet- ing and
report back at next meeting.
IX. OLD BUSINESS
A. Teen Dating Violence
Mele sent information to to Allen for Teen Dating Violence Cell Phone Cards and needs to follow up with
him on the status. ACTION ITEM: Mele contact Allen for update for next meeting.
B. Real Women Essay Contest
The sub -committee met and drafted the Gratitude, Grace + Grit Letter, Talk- ing Points, and Fact Sheet so
everything is ready. Just need the new Chair (replacing Kami) to sign the letter before it goes out. AC-

TION ITEM: Mele send letter to Chair to sign and then send to Allen and the Com- mittee to share
with their sphere/organization/group.
C. CSW Brochure
Mihaela updated the CSW Brochure with edits from last meeting. Only waiting on the new Chair
to be updated and then send the pdf to Allen for printing.
Dianna researched if the CSW Committee could have a Website/Landing Page
and/or a Social Media Page as a means of getting out information and contact info and found out
the Mayors Office is working on a template for a landing page for Boards to have a space on the
County website. They will send an update in a few weeks. ACTION ITEM: Mihaela update
with new Chair and send to Allen. Dianna invite Pomaikai Bartolome (Executive Assistant
to Mitch Roth) to our March Meeting.
D. Family Services Directory
Cyd distributed 250 copies to all Bay Clinics, Lokahi Treatment Center, Pahoa Adult Mental
Health
• Evelyn distributed 200 from Farrah, KTA, Creative Arts Hawaii, Penn Youth
Foundation, Longs, Hawaii Care Services, Keaau Middle + Highschool, and Hilo Highschool.
• Mele keeps the master distribution list updated and did not receive updated num- bers from
Allen.
ACTION ITEM: Mele to follow up with Allen to get his dis- tribution numbers to have the
updated log ready for March meeting. Please include the log in the monthly meeting
info
E. Human Trafficking
Sub -committee had no update to report.
CSW still has Human Trafficking Info Posters to handout if needed.
The Sub -Committee needs to meet and discuss the focus for CSW. Need
to gather more statistics about Human Trafficking on Hawaii Island. Would like to know the actu-
al numbers on runaways, trafficking victims, returned, found, repeat offenders, missing, etc. Sug-
gested that the HPD and the Prosecuting Attorney's office could help in gather these figures.
ACTION ITEM: Sub -Committee meet before next meeting.

F. Equal Pay
Sub -Committee had no update to report. The sub -committee will meet to discuss
doing a 2021 campaign (Radio +Print Ads) to bring awareness to Equal Pay.
ACTION ITEM: Andy set up meeting with Sub -Committee before next meet-
ing.
G. Status of Women Report Sub -Committee
Sub -Committee Update- Farrah sent a google doc link for Committee Mem- bers to provide
feedback on the report. Feedback from Puna was to include at the end suggestions for legisla-
tive action that we could help push forward.
ACTION ITEM: Mihaela will put some more thought into the report and put together the
final report to be presented at the next meeting. Add to Agenda for March Meeting for the
Committee to decide what to do with the report/who to share it with. Idea are: short pow-
er point presentation, share with YWCA, send to Mayor, do a press release, etc.?
X. NEW BUSINESS
A. Election for vacancies (Chairperson and possibly Vice -Chairperson)
Mele nominated Mihaela for Chair. Andy seconded. No other nominations were
received. Brooke motioned to close the nom- inating floor. Andy seconded. No
discussion. Motion approved. Mihaela will now be the Chair. Brooke nominated
Mele for Vice Chair. Evelyn seconded. No other nominations were re- ceived.

Mele will now be the Vice -Chair. ACTION ITEM: Nominating Committee to meet
and come up with slate for Corresponding Secretary. Mihaela add Corresponding
Secretary nomination and vote to March Agenda.

Cisco Webex — How to Use the Call Me Function

Purpose
This document will show attendees how to have Cisco Webex Meeting call their phone to connect to a
meeting's audio,
1. Fromthe invite, click "Join meeting."
2. Check the expansion icon next to "Use computer for audio" to display additional audio options.
3. Select "'Call me" and enter the phone number at which you would lake to receive the call.
a. When input is complete, click the check mark to submit the number.
4, Click "Join Meeting"
5. You will be prompted on the screen that the meeting is calling you.
6. When youir phone rings, answer and hit "1"' on your phone, to join the audio session.
