Aloha DEM-Wastewater,
You are now one year late in issuing the Naalehu Large Capacity Cesspool (LCC)
Closure Draft Environmental Assessment (EA).
The Naalehu EA contract c.007672 Exhibit C had Wilson Okamoto submitting the
Naalehu EA to OEQC for publication in The Environmental Notice on April 6, 2020.
Since closing cesspools is identified in Environment Hawaii as such a major problem,
how come no one is asking why this million dollar contract has not been monitored for
compliance in over one year?
Thank you for letting me know if and when the Naalehu EA will be published so I will
know where the million dollars in my taxes went.
