Subject: False statements by DEM Deputy Director Brenda Iokepa-Moses in Naalehu Phase I ESA, Oct.

Dear Corporation Counsel Strance,
As a Realtor Associate, I was licensed at Ka'u Realty about the time Brenda Iokepa-
Moses claims that Ka'u Realty owned what is now the proposed site of the Naalehu
Wastewater System. To my knowledge, Brenda Iokepa-Moses has never been
associated in any way with Ka'u Realty.
These false statements by Ms. Iokepa-Moses implicate Ka'u Realty and its Principal
Broker, Andrew Bashrum, in the ongoing Ka'u LCC Closure boondoggle.
Please take steps to address these false statements and assure us that appropriate
measures are taken by County to prevent Ms. Iokepa -Moses from adversely affecting
Ka'u wastewater decisions into the future with similar fraudulent statements.
Thank you for attending to these serious false statements that have led to inappropriate
siting of the Naalehu facility in a flood zone and next to a drinking water well.
