Voting As discussed during the March 1, 2021 Commission meeting, I offer the following language for consideration by the Commission: VI. VOTING c. Kanalua. No member shall refrain from voting unless excused by the Chairperson or is otherwise excluded by law. Members are to vote YES or NO or optionally exercise the principle of kanalua. That is, when requested for their vote, a member may state "kanalua" which provides for passing on a response at that time. Once all members have been asked to vote, the chair returns to the members having stated "kanalua". Those members must then state YES or NO.
