TIMELINE
August 12 - State receives census data
August 12 - September 8 - Vendor completes work on data
September 9 - Commission meeting
September 9 - October 13 - Commissioners and Public to create plans (s weeks)
October 14 — Deadline for Alternate Plan
October 8 - November 12 — Public hearings held before completing draft plan in
all Council Districts (s weeks)
December 9 — Commission's deadline to finalize draft plan
December 14 - Public hearing in Kona
December 16 - Public hearing in Hilo
December 20 - 23 — Meeting to finalize plan. Work on report explaining reasoning
for plan and how it complies with criteria.
December 31— File plan with Clerk
