Pursuant to Governor 1 e's proclamation, in order to minimize physical contact and maximize social distancing, this meeting will be conducted via Zoom. Michael Walker, Hawai'i State Fire Protection Forester will give an update on the recent fire load damage in West Hawai'i summarizing the cost and resources used for firefighting. b. Tim Richards, District 9, Hawai'i County Council Member will discuss community response to the recent wildfires in West Hawai'i and solutions that the community would like to see. c. Dr. J.B. Friday of the University of Hawai'i Forestry Cooperative Extension Service will speak on the relationship between wild ungulates and the spread of the Rapid Ohia Death. 6. OLD BUSINESS: a. Discussion and action on a draft letter to the Mayor regarding wildfires and the State of Hawai'i. b. Update on the Makahanaloa legal public access by Nani Pogline, committee member from the public and Commissioner Leomana Turalde, District 3. 7. NEW BUSINESS: a.
