Aloha Chair Adams and Commissioners,
On August 17, 2021, the EPA sent a Notice of Noncompliance (attached) with
the Pahala AOC to Mayor Roth.
According to the AOC, the County agreed to pay stipulated penalties now
amounting to $500/day for each violation and is STILL liable for further judicial
enforcement.
Would you please find out how much this is going to cost us taxpayers?
