NOTICE OF MEETING
DATE: Tuesday, October 19, 2021
TIME: 9:00 a.m.

NOTE: Hearings are open to the public and will be held pursuant and in compliance
with Governor David Ige's 21St Emergency Proclamation Related to COVID-
19 dated June 7, 2021, as may be amended from time to time. The hearing
may be held with up to 10 people in the room to ensure physical distancing
and safe practices can be maintained based on the size of the room. All
persons are required to wear a face covering over their nose and mouth
subject to an allowed exception under the Mayor's Rule. Each person will be
required to sanitize their hands upon entering the conference room.

2. Statements from the Public — In order to comply with the physical distancing
requirements, public testimony will be allowed one person at a time.

b. August 10, 17, and 18, 2021
4. Complaint Hearing
a. None received / filed
5. Annual Report to the Mayor's Office and County Council
6. General Real Property Tax Training / Workshop (time permitting)
7. Executive Session - With reference to agenda items listed, one or more
executive meetings are anticipated. In particular, the Board of Review anticipates
it may consult with the Board's attorney on questions and issues pertaining to the
Board's powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities. Therefore, pursuant
to Hawaii Revised Statutes ("HRS") Sections 92-5(a)(4), the agenda items listed
may be considered in Executive Session.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service, other reasonable
modification, or language interpretation to access the meeting, please
contact the Real Property Tax Division at 961-8764 as soon as possible, but
no later than five (5) working days prior to meeting to arrange for
accommodations. "Other reasonable modification" refers to communication
methods or devices for people with disabilities who are mentally and/or
physically challenged.
BOARD PACKET. Pursuant to Hawai'i Revised Statues Section 92-7.5, the board packet
provided to members of this board for this meeting is available for public inspection during
regular business hours at the Real Property Tax Division located at 101 Pauahi Street,
Suite 4, Hilo Hawai'i 96720.
NOTICE TO LOBBYISTS
If you are a lobbyist, you must register with the Hawai'i County Clerk within five days of
becoming a lobbyist (Article 15, Section 2-91.3(b), Hawai'i County Code).
A lobbyist means "any individual engaged for pay or other consideration who spends more
than five hours in any month or $275 in any six-month period for the purpose of attempting to
influence legislative or administrative action by communicating or urging others to
communicate with public officials." (Article 15, Section 2-91.3(a)(6), Hawai'i County Code.)
