NOTICE IS HERESY GiVIEN of the following matters to be considered by the Game Management Advisory Commission of the County of Hawaii in accordance with the provisions of Chapters 91 and 92, Hawai'i Revised Statutes, Section 6-7,5(a) of the Charter of the County of Hawaii, and the Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure. Pursuant to Governor f e's proclamation, in order to minimize physical contact and maximize social distancing, this meeting will be conducted via Zoom. 1. CALL TO ORDERIROLL CALL: (6:00pm) 2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: October 19, 2021 3. STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC ON AGENDA ITEMS: Y Statements from the public will be taken throughout the meeting. 4. PRESENTATIONS: C'ounli of Hauart is an Equal Opportunin l'ros'ider and Employer, a. DLNR, ADA and LEP Coordinator Dean Aoki will lead discussion and address the issues and concerns of disabled hunters. b. Dr. J.B. Friday, University of Hawai'i Cooperative Extension will provide information on available grants and tax breaks for private land owners, related to the preservation of native species. 5. OLD BUSINESS: a. Update on the County GMAC letter requesting the County Planning Department to pursue the development of the Kaupakuea public access into the Hilo Forest Reserve. 6. NEW BUSINESS: a. Open discussion to collect GMAC commissioner ideas for future meeting agendas. 7. COMMISSIONERS REPORT BY DISTRICT: 8. COMMITTEE REPORTS: a. Review and consensus on revised 2020 draft GMAC legislative bills and discussion on other carry over and potential new bills. b. Commissioner Mendes will provide an update on shooting range. 9. ADJOURNMENT: (8:00 pm) Next Meeting: Tuesday, December 14, 2021 Executive Session: The Game Management Advisory Commission anticipates it may convene in one or more executive sessions regarding the above matters listed on the agenda, pursuant to HRS Sections 92-4 and 92-5 (a)(4), for the purpose of consulting with the Board's attorney on questions and issues pertaining to the Commission's powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities. A 213 vote pursuant to HRS Section 92-4 is necessary to hold an executive session.
