Friday 12:30P - 2:30P D&B SHIFLETT $ 20 All Puna district sites will be closed on the following HOLIDAYS: April 1 5, 2022 (Good Friday) and May 30, 2022 (Memorial Day) Keaau Class Information AGE: Must be 55 years of age and older to participate. ENROLLMENT: Registration will be closed when class limit is met. Class size is dependent on room size and student/teacher ratio. You will need an Elderly Activities Division Senior Identification card to participate in activities. If you do not have an identification card Dlease call the ERS office to schedule an aaaointment. ERS Release of Claims/Emerg-encv Information Form must be completed prior to starting activities. SAFETY PROTOCOLS: Each participant will be required to wear their masks upon entering facility. Masks will be required to be worn at all indoor facilities throughout class. Masks will not be required to be worn at classes held at outdoor facilities (ex: Pahoa DP, Shipman Park, etc.). If you are feeling ill please refrain from attending classes. Hand sanitization stations will be made available at every class. Please be aware that safety protocols can be changed at any given time. SPRING REGISTRATION: General public registration will start Monday, March 14, 2022 @ 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the Keaau Community Center. Registration will continue through Friday, April 8, 2022 at Keaau Community Center. NO REGISTRATION WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER APRIL 8. PLEASE, NO REGISTRATION BY TELEPHONE. Register by writing your name, telephone # & email address on the class Registration sheet. Payment will be collected when classes begins. Pre -registration for each class will be available prior to the end of Winter Qtr. for students currently enrolled in the class. If you decide to drop the course before the 2nd class, please call the ERS office at 966-5801 & "no shows" will be removed from the attendance after the 2nd class. SUMMER QUARTER: Registration will begin Monday, June 13, 2022 and end on Friday, July 22, 2022 with classes beginning on Monday, July 112 2022. Pre -registration for students currently enrolled in a course will be on the last days of class in the SUMMER Quarter. No pre -registration by telephone. COSTS: Participants will be required to pay a registration fee per class. The fee will be $10.00 for the entire session whether it's 8, 9, or 10 classes and will be collected at the first and second class. Classes that are 2 hours or more will be $20 per class. The monies will be used to support all programs and ERS activities. No refunds after the second class. Do NOT pay office. Please pay in class. If paving in cash please bring exact change. If paving by check make checks out to: County Director of Finance. Services and op portunities to participate in Elderly Recreation programs are provided to persons 55 years or older without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, disability or religion.
