We got a little confused on the East Hawaii and Wort Hawaii dates for testimony.
Hence, written testimony.
IMy wife, Cray, and II Ilh vo ollhowod over the proposal, all Ilh llf dozen maps, and II agree
with Ihor tosbiirnony bellow. II (know this its difficult to parse up an Island in 22,000 resident
g Teens. IMy greges ll its to combine geegr gll c ll areas with Messer population but that
Ilh ve more unity in community. If that area its 11,666 population then give that
representative a 6.5 vote v llue. If you are currently changing the rulles, w1hy net change
he number of representatives? II thinik this approach woulld Ilh ve eemmuniifiies of similar
v llues and issues represented by one representative even if that vote Ih s Mess v llue
than a more concentrated area Iliilke Hilo.
All the maps I've seen se fan- Ilu mps Allolha Estates with Captain Coolk. Other than being
ru r ll, we Ilh ve nothing in common. Our children go to different schools, we sIheg in
different markets, our seeii ll gathering are never together. This its Iliilke lumping upper
