This group is intended to be constituted as an ad hoc committee to develop and provide an orientation process for the FY 21-22 nonprofit grant program awardees. The scope of this committee will be limited to developing and providing an orientation process for awardees which will include 1) a request to collect community data; 2) identify barriers for nonprofits; and 3)possible development of a refined application and/or reporting process. I anticipate the ad hoc committee will include myself and other council members (comprising less than a majority ofthe whole Council) whose names will be determined on May 4, 2021. Once the ad hoc committee is established, HRS Section 92-2.5(b)(1)(C)requires the findings and recommendations of its investigation to be presented at a future meeting of the HSSS Committee.
