A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PURCHASE AN AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM
AT KEA'AU COMMUNITY CENTER.
WHEREAS, the Kea'au Community Center, located at 16-186 Pili Mua Street, serves
seniors in the Puna District through the Department of Parks and Recreation's Coordinated
Services for the Elderly; and
WHEREAS,the Department of Parks and Recreation requests funding assistance to
purchase an air conditioning system for the comfort ofthe users ofthe Kea'au Community
Center; now,therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that
Contingency Relief funds from Council District 3 will be appropriated to the Department of
Parks and Recreation, Elderly Activites Division, for the purchase of an air conditioning system
at Kea'au Community Center.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Council hereby transfers/appropriates
the following amount as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance, and that the Director
of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
