County's priorities, goals, and objectives during the upcoming 2018 session ofthe Hawai`i State
Legislature.

Dear Mr. Levin,
I was pleased to hear yesterday that you came by the Council offices yesterday and that you
would be returning to serve our County again as the liaison to the Hawai`i State Legislature
during its 2018 session.
I would like to invite you to a discussion with the County Council regarding Hawai`i County's
priorities, goals, and objectives at an upcoming committee meeting on January 3, 2018, in Hilo,
at a time to be determined. The communication requesting your attendance is attached.
I understand that your term of employment with the County has not yet begun, but we need to
begin the discussion before the legislative session begins. Please inform my office of your
availability by December 20, 2017.
