SUBJECT: Request for a discussion on Hawai`i County's priorities for the 2019 session of
the Legislature.
By means of this communication I am requesting that the Mayor,the Managing Director, or their
designee provide a brief presentation regarding the top priorities for Hawai`i County in the 2019
session of the Hawai`i State Legislature.
Please place this item on the agenda of the Governmental Relations and Economic Development
Committee on January 8, 2019, no earlier than 10 a.m. in order to accommodate the Mayor's
schedule. I anticipate that the presentation and discussion, if any,will take about 20 minutes.
