SUBJECT: Resolution No. 487-20, Draft 2; A Resolution supporting Senate Bill No. 2826, as
amended, or other legislation with the purpose of providing adequate foreclosure
protection for beneficiaries of the Hawaiian Homes Commission Act of 1920.
Attached is Resolution No. 487-20, as amended to Draft 2 with the contents of Communication
No. 740.1, as duly approved by the Council on February 19, 2020.
The Council suspended Rule No. 24(1)(e), which requires that final action on amended
legislation be taken at its next regular meeting, and adopted Resolution No. 487-20, Draft 2.
