On behalf of the citizens of the County of Hawai`i, it is a great pleasure to
congratulate Michael Kitamura for having achieved the impressive rank of Eagle
Scout, on February 8, 2022. You will be honored at a special Eagle Court of
Honor Ceremony.
We commend you for your years of hard work and dedicated community
service, beginning fourteen years ago in Waidkeawaena Pack 65 and earning the
Arrow of Light, Cub Scouting's highest award, and your determination to earn
the rank of Eagle Scout. This prestigious milestone is recognized across the
country and the world.
As an Eagle Scout, you have earned 43 merit badges and served your
troop in a variety of leadership roles. Your community service project, securing
funding for and building sitting benches for New Hope Christian Fellowship
Church in Hilo, will be enjoyed by our citizens for years to come.
Eagle Scouts like you continue to contribute to the community throughout
their lives. As you continue to build on this impressive achievement, please accept
our best wishes for much continued success in all of your future endeavors.
