NOTICE OF MEETING
DATE: Wednesday, May 25, 2022

This meeting will be held through a combination of board members being physically
present at the meeting location site and participating via ZOOM. Members of the public
may attend this meeting either in -person at the meeting location site or via ZOOM.
The public may view the meeting live via ZoomGov. To sign up for access to the meeting
via ZoomGov, please contact Brittany lyo at Brittany.lyo(a-hawaiicounty.gov or at 808-
961-8311 no later than 12 noon, Tuesday, May 24, 2022. Anyone wishing to testify orally
via ZoomGov must sign up by 12 noon, Tuesday, May 24, 2022, by contacting Brittany
lyo. If the internet connection for ZOOM is lost, the meeting will be automatically
recessed to restore communication. In the event the internet connection cannot be
restored within thirty (30) minutes, the meeting will be terminated.
Submitting Written Testimony: The Committee encourages the public to submit thoughts,
comments, and input via written testimony. To ensure timely delivery to Board Members prior to
the meeting, written testimony must be submitted before 12:00 noon on the business day prior
to the meeting by: (1) email to Brittany. IyoCa)-hawaiicounty.gov, (2) facsimile to (808) 961-8411,
or (3) mail to the Department of Parks and Recreation at office at 101 Pauahi Street, Suite 6,
Hilo, Hawaii 96720. All written testimony, regardless of time of receipt, will be part of the
permanent record.

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Hawaii Revised Statutes (hereinafter "HRS") 92-3.5, the
Hawaii County Department of Parks & Recreation will be conducting this meeting via
videoconference. If the audio stream between Kona and Hilo is lost for more than a short period
of time, the meeting will be terminated. Veterans Advisory Committee Members will be present
at the following locations:
