Bills General Description
HB2513 RELATING TO THE RENTAL HOUSING REVOLVING FUND.
Deposits funds into the Rental Housing Revolving Fund to be used to provide loans
or grants to mixed-income rental projects or units for persons and families with
incomes between 60 and 100% of the median family income. Enables the Hawaii
Housing Finance and Development Corporation to use any unused moneys for
other authorized rental housing projects.
SB1294 RELATING TO MEDICAID-DENTAL BENEFITS
Appropriates funds to restore diagnostic, preventive, and restorative
dental benefits to adult Medicaid enrollees.
SB2479 RELATING TO BROADBAND INFRASTRUCTURE.
Requires each public housing project, dwelling unit, and state low-income housing
project that is built, renovated, or reconstructed after 1/1/2023, to include all
broadband infrastructure necessary for tenants to have access to broadband
service
SB2677 RELATING TO HOMELESSNESS.
Temporarily expands the state rent supplement program to specifically target
qualified individuals who are sixty-two years of age or older and are homeless or at
imminent risk of becoming homeless. Requires HPHA to submit annual reports to
the legislature. Appropriates funds. Repeals 6/30/2025.
SB2678 RELATING TO THE HAWAII STATE HEALTH INSURANCE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM.
Appropriates funds to expand the Hawaii state health insurance assistance program
by contracting with third-party service providers and staffing consultants and
recruiting more volunteers
SB2679 RELATING TO DRIVER''S LICENSES.
Extends the renewal period from two years to four years for licensees who are
seventy-two years of age or older but younger than eighty years of age.
SB3289 RELATING TO HAWAII RETIREMENT SAVINGS.
Establishes the Hawaii retirement savings program, administered by the Hawaii
retirement savings board, with oversight by Dept of Labor and Industrial Relations
