<br />PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE FIRE
<br />COMMISSION
<br />The proposed amendments include the following:
<br />• Amendment to Rule 5(B)(1): Changes regular meetings from the second
<br />Wednesday of each month to the fourth Thursday of each month, unless otherwise
<br />specified by the Commission.
<br />• Amendment to Rule 8(a): Extends the time to file complaint from sixty (60) days to
<br />ninety (90) days from the date of the incident.
<br />All persons desiring to express their views, arguments, or submit data on the above
<br />matter may do so by submitting statements in writing to the Fire Commission, two days
<br />before the date of the public hearing. Anyone interested may appear in person to submit
<br />their data, views, or arguments orally before the Commission at the hearing. All written
<br />comments should be mailed or delivered to the Commission at 101 Pauahi St., Ste. 9,
