NOTE: Pursuant to Act 220, Session Laws of Hawaii 2021, effective January 1, 2022, Cost of Government Commission meetings will be held online, and the location listed below is open to the public to provide testimony. Thus, the Cost of Government Commission can be viewed live on Zoom, or at the location listed below. Meeting minutes of the Cost of Government Commission will be posted on the Boards and Commissions website in the Cost of Government Commission folder at https://www.hawaiicounty_gov/our-county/boards-and-commissions. DATE: Thursday, September 22, 2022 TIME: 2 p.m. — 4:30 p.m. PLACE: Hawaii County Building, Pueo Conference Room 25 Aupuni Street, Suite 2603, Hilo, HI 96720 West Hawaii Civic Center / Mayor's Office 74-5044 Ane Keohokalole Hwy., Kailua-Kona. HI 96740 INTERACTIVE CONFERENCE TECHNOLOGY (ICT): Cost of Government Commission Members will participate in this meeting via the Zoom interactive video conference platform. Pursuant to HRS §92-3, interested persons who want to provide oral testimony may do so either at the time the Commission takes public statements on items on the agenda, or at the time the specific agenda item is called." Public attendees may present written or oral testimony at the meeting without prior registration. A meeting held by interactive conference technology shall be automatically recessed for up to thirty (30) minutes to restore communication when audiovisual communication cannot be maintained with all members participating in the meeting or with the "in -person" location identified in this agenda. REVENUE GENERATION • The Revenue Generation PIG presented its Findings and Recommendations to the full Commission on August 25, 2022, and September 8, 2022. The full Commission intends to deliberate and/or decide on the Findings and Recommendations at this Commission meeting. g. PONC 6. STATUS REPORTS OF INDIVIDUAL COMMISSIONERS ON PRIORITY FOCUS AREAS, SUGGESTED SAVINGS/EFFICIENCY AREAS, AND REVENUE GENERATION CONCEPTS. 7. DISCUSSION ON ITEMS TO BE PLACED ON NEXT AGENDA The Commissioners will comment on issues not on the agenda, for consideration for the Commission's next meeting. 8. ANNOUNCEMENTS: The next meeting of the Cost of Government Commission will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at 2 p.m. by interactive conference technology call via the Zoom platform with in - person locations available for public access. Those submitting written testimony at the meeting should bring ten (10) copies for distribution. Testimony may be submitted by (1) mail to Cost of Government Commission c/o Office of the Mayor, 25 Aupuni St., Suite 2603, Hilo, HI 96720; or (2) by email to JeanM.Miskovich(d)hawaiicounty.gov and Pomaikai.Bartolome(a),hawaiicounty.gov. Please submit separate testimony for each item. Copies will be distributed by the commission secretary at the meeting. All oral and written testimony will be public record. Notice to Lobbyists: If you are a lobbyist, you must register with the Hawaii County Clerk within five days of becoming a lobbyist [Article 15, Section 2-91.3(b), Hawaii County Code].
