Repeal of a 24.495-acre, identified by Tax MapKey: 2-3-36:18, from Change of Zone
Ordinance No. 487, which incrementallyzoned a 50.988-acre area from an Agricultural
1-acre (A-1a) to a Single Family Residential 7,500 square foot (RS-7.5) district. The
area involved includes the 8-acre area proposed by Matsuno Enterprises, Ltd. for
rezoning from an A-1a to a Neighborhood Commercial 20,000 square foot (CN-20)
district. The property is located along the south side of Ponahawai Street, diagonally
across from the Homelani Cemetery, Ponahawai, South Hilo, Hawaii.
