From: <br />Randee Golden <br />To: <br />LPCtestimanv <br />Subject: <br />Item #10 Parcel in Hawi up for rezoning Dec. 16 <br />Date: <br />Saturday, December 11, 2021 11:13:06 AM <br />I am submitting this testimony in opposition to a proposal by Dwayne Cravalho to change the zoning of the 7,500 sq <br />ft triangle parcel of land at the intersection of Hoea Road and Akoni Pule Highway from agriculture to commercial <br />designation. This parcel is right in downtown Hawi where there already is a lot of congestion. Tourists flock the <br />area and there is no room for local people to go there now... this will add to the problems. Our town needs to be <br />held with pride, not with porta-potties at the entrance. Please reconsider and do not allow this inappropriate change <br />in designation. We need to hold our agricultural land a priority for EVERYONE.
